BABY ACNeQuestion by Katy: BABY ACNe???

MY 2 weeks old baby has been developing a lot of acne on his cheeks and forehead. Sometimes it looks lesser sometimes more. Does anybody know any home remedies for it ???

Best answer: for BABY ACNe???

Answer by Nicole R
As tempting as it is to put something on it my doctor said not to. He said it needed to dry out. My daughters baby acne went away at about 5 to 6 weeks

Just keep his face clean and moisturized. It will go away on it’s own. See, your baby has been exposed to your hormones (in little girls it can cause bloody discharge, for example) and when they wear off, the acne will go away.

Leave it be…most babies get it. Their skin is soooo sensitive- don’t use anything but plain water on it! Make sure you wipe away any milk/spitup etc. If you are really concerned call your pediatrition.

I know it looks awful, but just leave it alone other than gently cleaning his face morning and night with plain warm water and a soft cloth. It will go away on it’s own, and he’ll have that beautiful baby complexion

You dont put anything on their skin but warm water to keep the oils off of it. I know it may seem bad for baby, but all babies get it and it is ok.

Normal thing that lots of babies get. Don’t put anything on it though. Leave it open to the air and it will go away in time.

It’s totally normal. It’s just his skin adjusting to being outside the womb. It could spread from anywhere from his chest, up over the top of his head, and down his back. It’s going to get ugly and gross, but it’s not harmful. Keep it clean and dry – DO NOT put lotion on it or anything else, that’ll make it worse – and it’ll go away on it’s own. It could take until he’s six months old, but if you ignore it, it’ll go away.

Just make sure you are washing his face with a warm washcloth every once in a while, especially after he eats. If it gets bad around his mouth/nose area you can use a little vaseline on it so it’s not so dry. It will take a little while to go away, but it does eventually.

My daughter had acne (she is 7m now) I heard that putting breastmilk on it will help reduce the appearence. DON’T put lotion (any kind) or soap on it. It will irritate it A LOT! Wash face with warm water and cloth. It will go away, I promise.
My daughters acted up when she cried, was in the heat, or was eating…

i agree with everyone else, the best is to wash it regularly and don’t do anything to irritate it

Don’t try to pick at it or anything. Your baby is just getting used to the outside world, and his skin is adjusting to all the air, and everything else. Most babies get it, and it will go away before you know it! Congrats on the new baby!

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. WordPress Seo Plugin
